About Us
The Club de Corredores de Circuito de Puerto Rico (CCCPR) was founded in 1973 with the purpose of developing and promoting circuit racing in Puerto Rico. With more than 50 years of uninterrupted history, the CCCPR has established itself as the pioneering, most respected, and longest-standing organization in Caribbean motorsports, responsible for laying the organizational and competitive foundations that have shaped the modern sport in the region.
Since its founding, the club has served as a space for development and excellence for drivers, mechanics, race officials, and fans, consistently promoting discipline, safety, and passion for motorsports. During its peak decades, the CCCPR led what is widely recognized as the golden era of motorsports in Puerto Rico, highlighted by iconic events such as the 3 Horas Marlboro and the Copa Marlboro. These competitions reached audiences throughout Latin America and attracted world-class drivers. These races positioned Puerto Rico as an international motorsports reference, generating a vibrant sporting culture and leaving an unforgettable legacy in the history of the Caribbean.
Today, with a renewed vision and strong commitment, the CCCPR seeks not only to preserve this legacy but also to lead Puerto Rican motorsports into a new era. In this era, road safety, automotive education, and sports tourism come together to create a sustainable movement with high social impact and international projection—reaffirming our pride as the club with the longest history on a small island with significant achievements in global motorsports.
Looking ahead to 2026, the CCCPR begins a new chapter with a renewed board of directors and a new president, driving the sport to grow and improve with a focus on modernization, digitalization, and enhancing the experience of drivers and fans alike—making motorsports in Puerto Rico a more attractive, inclusive, and professional spectacle for everyone.
